Staff Bio
As a former division I collegiate ice hockey player, coach, and strength and conditioning coach, Alex understands what skills are needed in order to maximize one’s potential in ice hockey. In addition, Alex is a practicing sport psychology consultant to athletes from various sports, thus solidfying this as the most comprehensive ice hockey camp in the area, educating YOU on ALL of the important components that constitute a successful hockey player.
Before playing collegiately, Alex starred at Leominster High School and with the Tyngsboro Huskies. At Leominster High, Alex earned Central Mass Player of the Year honors as a sophomore in leading his team to the Central Mass final. As a senior in 1997, Alex won the state scoring title with 55 goals and 98 points and an appearance in the state final.
Alex served as team captain for the Tyngsboro Huskies of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) in 1998 while making two straight appearances in the EJHL All-Star game. Alex then moved on to play hockey at the division 1 college level.
